Sprint car legend; Donny Schatz, looked fast all week at Tulsa Expo Raceway, but was denied entrance to the A-Feature after being overtaken for the last transfer spot, on the final lap of the B main. Ironically, verteran Schatz, would recieve the 2017 Chili Bowl Rookie of the Year honors.
TDP roamed the pits on move-in day at The Tulsa Expo Center and talked to drivers and experts. They gave us their opinions on who they thought would win this year’s Chili Bowl and who they thought might surprise people.

Donny Schatz started 15th and made his way to 3rd place, picking up the Hard Charger award during the Friday night Feature at The 2016 WoO World Finals in Charlotte, NC.
