Rico Abreu running his heat at The 2017 Chili Bowl Nationals

Rico Abreu had a challenging 2017 Chili Bowl. A series of unfortunate events on his qualifying night left him with no option but to take a provisional, after Saturday’s climb from the F-Feature proved impossible. During the Chili Bowl A-Feature, Rico had gone from 25th to 7th when he was caught up in wreck that sent him to the back. Even still, Abreu came away with a respectable 12th place finish.
